We screen up to 500 opportunities each year to identify the best potential fit for our portfolio. We then structure transactions that pair these growing businesses with the best-fit combination of partners sourced from individual and institutional capital providers. Pareto & Company invests its own capital in every transaction, aligning the interests of all parties.

Our ideal investments often feature:

• Profitable companies with EBITDA typically ranging from $3 million to $7 million
• Companies in the Services, B2B Products, or Niche Manufacturing industries
• Internal leadership that wants to remain involved with the future of the company
• A strategy for growth as well as recurring revenue, or a clear path to recurring revenue

Investments that likely will not be a fit:

• Startups or early-stage companies with less than $3 million in EBITDA
• Companies with an undefined market or a primary focus on consumers
• Companies with a single owner or complete senior team looking to exit completely
• Companies with non-recurrent revenue and no obvious path to growth or profitability
